The SABRE Signature 50 is a precision-engineered 50-watt vacuum tube amplifier designed for professional recording and live performance. Developed by Elan Memran,(Metalhead Electronics) this head integrates elite analog tone with modern reactive load technology, providing the harmonic richness of a pushed output stage without the necessity of high-volume sound pressure levels.

Integrated Reactive Loadbox

Engineered for the modern studio, the SABRE Signature 50 features a built-in Reactive Load and Power Soak. This system allows for 100% silent operation while maintaining the complex impedance relationship between the tubes and the output transformer.

  • Speaker Mute Switch: Safely redirects power to the internal load, protecting the circuit during direct recording.
  • Balanced XLR Interface: Low-impedance output for direct connection to professional mixing consoles and AD converters.
  • Flat Speaker Simulation: Analog circuitry meticulously tuned to provide a transparent, mix-ready signal without digital latency.

Tonal Architecture

Clean Channel Voicing

Designed for absolute transparency and high headroom. The dedicated FAT Switch shifts the low-mid resonance, providing a thicker, more robust profile for single-coil instruments or archival jazz tones.

The Overdrive Section

Offering two discrete gain topologies to suit varied performance requirements:

  • Low Gain Mode: Dynamic, touch-sensitive breakup emphasizing midrange clarity and vintage-inspired grit.
  • High Gain Mode: Featuring the proprietary Elan Memran “Metalhead” circuit, delivering surgical articulation and immense sustain for modern high-saturation applications.
Built-in noise gate:
The high gain section has a controllable Elan`s famous noise reduction system -removes hum and hiss cased by Elan`s high gain mod makes your sound and tone extra tight.
Independent Master Volumes:
Each channel has its own master volume.  this feature making it easy to balance clean and overdrive tones.
